PRODUCTION TEAM needed for adventurous web-based projects.
Seeking: Director of Photography, Editor, MUA's, Costume Designer, PA's and others.
SHAMELESS REDHEAD PRODUCTIONS is a small, highly adventurous Hollywood-based new media production operation.
The pilot to our most recent project - the Tüte Voller Kinder (www.thetvk.com/tvk-pilot/) a bliztkrieg guerrilla web series (produced in collaboration with New York City-based artist Silence Chooses Animal (www.silencechoosesanimal.com)) was selected as the 2011 Hollywood Fringe Film Festival's featured short. TVK's subsequent installment was recently released and both episodes can be viewed here (www.thetvk.com). While these productions are a particular kind of extreme and should not necessarily be taken as guides to what we'll be doing in the future, they do give an idea as to our general direction and proclivities.
We are currently building a new Hollywood-based team for a variety of upcoming projects - principally web-based, but always with the hope of something more. Currently on the table: a gritty & surreal narrative web series and a new comedy variety show, with short film/feature possibilities in the somewhat longer term.
We pursue and are planning for the strange, fun, artistic, and adventurous, in a variety of contexts, and are seeking dedicated, resourceful, and imaginative individuals possessing creative vision, passion, a team spirit, and the ability to get things done. There are no guarantees beyond working with good people on interesting things and getting work done. However, if we make money beyond recouping the cost of the production, so will you.
Primarily, the company is seeking an Editor and a Director of Photography. The DP must have access to his/her own equipment, though we're open to ideas and discussion. Additionally, we are looking for PA's, a Costume Designer, and MUA's and remain open to others as well if this pique's your interest and there's something you think you might be able to add to this sort of project - animation, costumes, etc.
