Humans Being
Theme:
Humans Being is a short avant-garde feature that demonstrates the importance in helping one another in contrast to the individualistic and darwinian perspective that many seem to have in today's society. People often feel they must step on others, to promote their own success but fail to realize that although life presents us with competition, it in itself is not a competition; it is a gift, given to all that share in it's existence.
Premise:
On one side of the screen, "Human Being" is displayed while on the other side of the screen, "Humans Being a Collective" is displayed. We follow a young man as he encounters various hardships; some of which we are often confronted with and others seldom experienced in reality. His interaction with people and lack thereof, vary on each side of the screen, showing that ultimately, it is more advantageous to have others around to lend him a hand.
