With just 11 days until the first full week of the 2016 college football season, we look back at Navys 11 wins last season.?Record-breaking quarterback Keenan Reynolds led Navy to an 11-2 mark, setting the school record for wins and finishing at No. 18 in the final Associated Press poll. Reynolds also set personal career records for the most rushing yards in FBS history by a quarterback (4,559) and the most rushing touchdowns in Division I history (88). Reynolds finished fifth in Heisman voting and was selected in the sixth round of the NFL draft by the Baltimore Ravens.?But Navys turnaround didnt start with Reynolds. Head coach Ken Niumatalolo took over in 2007, and the Midshipmen have been steadily improving ever since.?It will be extremely difficult for Navy to top last season. The Midshipmen are not only losing Reynolds; they must replace all 11 offensive starters. Taking over at quarterback of Navys triple-option offense will be Tago Smith. The 5-foot-10, 201-pound senior has appeared in 18 games with two starts.
